Sameer has traveled over 16 hours from his home, leaving behind his loving wife and daughter, to share with us the richness of his culture and the beauty of his craft.

Sameer’s hands tell stories — weaving together the soft wool of Himalayan goats and the shimmering silk spun by worms into breathtaking shawls and carpets. Each thread carries centuries of tradition, patience, and artistry.

We are thrilled to have Sameer with us through the holiday months, demonstrating his process and showcasing his handmade cashmere shawls and Persian-style silk carpets — true works of wearable art.
