Art of Indigo Dyeing Workshop

Cost: $60.00 per person (12 and older only)

Class Size: 10 students maximum

Objectives: Participants will learn the basics of indigo dyeing as they create a bandana and a tea towel to take home. Various wrapping & dyeing techniques will be demonstrated. The workshop will include items to be dyed and all other materials necessary to create different designs. Students may also bring up to 3 cotton personal items to be dyed during the workshop, in addition to those items provided.

  • The workshop is non-refundable and limited to 10 students

  • Please note this workshop takes place partially outdoors

  • Please wear old clothes and closed-toe shoes

  • Bring your own drinks & snacks if desired

  • Bring long latex or rubber gloves if you have them

Weather: Should cancellation become necessary due to inclement weather, participants will be notified, and the workshop will be rescheduled.
